Cracow Folk Dance Group "Lajkonik" specializes in organizing events for the foreign and domestic tourists on business meetings, congresses, exhibitions, fairs as well as various types of open and closed events.

Cracow Folk Dance Group "Lajkonik" is a team of young, dynamic, expressive dancers and professional musicians representing the original Polish folk in magnificent regional costumes.

Presented in rich nobility costumes, performed with a style of the era or region they hit the score. On the performances there can not lac of the original "Lajkonik" according to a draft Stanislaw Wyspianski.

Team occurs in varying configurations dance, from 4 to 12 people dancing plus musicians. On the repertoire of the team consists of national dances - lyrical and romantic kujawiak, Lajkonik with rousing krakowiak , extremely elegant and subtle polonaise, mazur with fire accents and vigorous oberek.

A completely different climate create regional dances - symphatic polka ludwinowska, wedding dance from the Jewish Kazimierz, great dances from lubelski and sądecki region.

A dynamic programme of dance, with costumes and colour that makes the event, participants receive an extremely positive form of performances. Dance independently from the era of fashion and expressed emotions. From our group comes enormous energy and joy.

Dancers, including visitors to the shows, encourage them to learn simple dance circuits. They add to the party a fantastic mood. Dance is a potent factor in society, as well as the type of international communication, clearly visible for each regardless of nationality.

Meeting with folklore is undoubtedly one of the many attractions of the region.
Dances, music and costumes are already the strongest ever and the best way of expression of national pride and cultural traditions.

Folklore is also a historical and geographical phenomenon. Each region is characterised by a variety of different forms of dance and music.
It is stressed that music and dance are bond togheter.
Complement each other creating a unique spectacle. An extremely attractive complement to the scene are the beautiful, hand-embroidered costumes.

Dance has remained a symbol for centuries. Performed in its gestures, movements
and expressive dancers always expressing emotions and interpersonal symbolised a concrete events and situations.
